Gwanghapseong Cafe - studying like Koreans do

As we are not just here to eat and get fat but also for our exchange semester and our final exams where scarily coming near, Ella and I met for some studying in Mangwon-dong. By finding this place accidentally we were super happy about our delicious drinks we got. Ella had a home brewed apple cinnamon tea and I had a incredibly delicious ginger latte. As some of you might know, it’s not so usual to just take one drink in a cafe place and stay there for a three to four hours study session. In South Korea, it is. Which makes it really nice to learn, I think.

I mean, we were concentrating from time to time but there were also those minutes where we interrupted our focus and chatted or had a look at the beautiful interior of the cafe, or the cute barista guy! Anyway the room was full with hanging, standing and bottled plants which gave a beautiful and natural atmosphere to the modern and bright interior.

On this day we didn’t just visit this area for studying of course, but we will tell about this in one of our many posts who are in future to come.
At this point I want to notice that our exchange semester is over now and I personally look back with a happy tear in my eye. I really fell for Seoul and it’s culture (especially food and coffee) and I hope to come back very soon as I could imagine myself living here for some more time. Ella and I have a lot more stories to tell but this post is the last one of me during my study time in South Korea.

We will keep this blog going by exploring more beautiful places and I am in India now so stay tuned!
